Description
A cross-stitch bookmark, showing the blue lightsaber used by both Anakin and Luke Skywalker, will valiantly keep your place in your next book for you! The bookmark is finished off with a lightside Force quote. Quote reads: "The Force will be with you... Always." (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Episode IV: A New Hope)
As a bonus, the core of the lightsaber glows in the dark! So you can even locate it (or the book it's hanging out of) in the dark!
The hilt design is meant to represent the second blade that Anakin Skywalker built (between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith). It was then kept in safekeeping by Obi-Wan Kenobi before he passed it on to Luke Skywalker as the young Jedi's first blade in A New Hope. Luke lost it at Bespin in Empire Strikes Back, but those who know the Expanded Universe know that it ended up being used by Mara Jade-Skywaker.
Finally started playing with my Glow-in-the-Dark DMC thread! It was so fun, even if it was a little fiddly!
Stitched with DMC standard, Satin Glow-in-the-Dark, and Metallic threads, on white 14 count aida banding. Approximately 16.4cm in length.
